My 2005

Had a great year 2005 with lots of activities...
Few highlights of my activities are:

January 2005
1st weekend of January - My Bali Spa Trip
Sam, Mok, Law and I

I like the beauty of Island and the sea~!
We stayed at the Bali Cliff Resort, it is a bit far from the Kuta center, But, it is a worth for the scenic overview of the Indian Ocean, the "sky-sea-pool" beautiful resort as in the picture taken.

It was a rest and relax trip with a hired-driver to go around.
Bali is a big island, we only covered part of the island in the southern part (the main attraction for the 1st timer visitors). Perhaps, a next trip to the northern part for the diving activities and the dophin watching?! :)

Highlights:
The strong Hinduism religion, the unique culturals and the Balinese Art, the Mount Agung (volcano), the beauty of island and beaches, the friendly Balinese and the Balinese SPA - I like it~!

March 2005
Mid of March - Vancouver & Portland, Oregon, USA

Well, it was a tight schedule business trip to SEH-America with the two bosses. I was lucky to have a side-trip to downtown Portland, Mount Hood & the Columbia River Gorge..etc. Thanks to Steve!
It was raining while on the way to Mount Hood... going up Mount Hood, I noticed the rain had slowly changed to SNOW! This was my first time to see "falling snow".
Sigh that I did not have time for a try of skiing?!

All the best in the future understakings.

June 2005
12th June - Gunung Angsi Day Hike
A big group of people ( ~57 persons) went for a day hike to G. Angsi, located in Seremban under the organisers from SHELL
I think this is a memorable trip to one of my colleague - Yong, who is still "scaring" of hiking now, and was thinking to put up her newly bought hiking shoes to ebay.com :P

25th June - Batu Caves

Have been staying in KL for almost 6 years, then only my first time went up to Batu Caves. eventhough always pass by that area. Shame on me :P

Well, it was during the durian season! We collected & had some durians in the dusun!

Some of the durians were eaten by animals as seen in the photos here :(

1st week of Sept - Redang Lang Tengah Diving Trip

Few of us (MiowChin, Han, Jason, Vivience and I) had our first beginner OWD (Open Water Diver) license here while the other OX members were having their advanced fun dives.
My first time scuba diving into the deep sea at one of the beautiful island in the East of Peninsular Malaysia.

A great lifetime experience & I believed I will dive into the sea again in other places!

October 2005
8-10th October - Gunung Irau, Cameron Highland

Under the organiser - Boon Keat, we stayed into MNS (Malaysian Nature Society) in the Boh Tea plantation. It is a simple chalet type of accomodation with some rooms, hall and a dormitory.

Gunung Irau with tall (2110m) the G9 (9th highest peak) in Peninsula Malaysia & the 15th in Malaysia. It is known for its mossy forest & "Lord of the rings" look alike~!

We started at brinchang, and it took ~ 2hours to reach the peak. Along the way, it was a muddy path! Look at my SHOE~!

December 2005
End of December - Singapore
This was not the first time I went to our neighbour country - Singapore, the intention of this trip was more to meet up with friends and the best time to visit Singapore is end year for the strong Christmas feel there. More friends are heading to work in Singapore, because of the higher 'buying power' of the $ ?!!?
