Phuket Diving Trip

Went to Phuket Island, south of Thailand and stayed in the Deevana Patong Resort and Spa Hotel, it is a nice hotel located at Patong, walking distance to all the excitements in Patong, a recommended hotel which is good at location, price, cleanliness & service.
Patong beach/area is the most crowded place in Phuket...

Highlights:
* Phromthep Cape - the southern-most point of Phuket Island with the spectacular view of Andaman Sea and sunsets. It took around 45min drive from Patong beach.

L-R: Main pool at Deevana; Patong Beach; Phromthep Cape
* Diving at Racha Yai under West Coast Divers (www.westcoastdivers.com), an island nearby Phuket. It was a very relaxing cruise trip, with majority Westerners on board.
1st Dive at Staghorn Reef - 50mins underwater; 2nd dive at Lucy's Reef- 51mins; strong currents and waves, medium visibility. No GIANT fishes, as the site were fulled of divers from different cruises :(
We were the giant fishes...hahaaaa

Those who went for diving did not join the trip to Phi Phi Island tour, anyhow, feedback from them the place (the beach, the snorkelling) is not interesting, East coast of Malaysia is even better! Really???! :)

* Phuket Fantasea, Phuket main well-known theme park, located at Kamala Beach. A fantastic show that infuses Thai culture with magical, acrobatics, aerial ballet, elephants circus..etc

* Phang Nga Bay (Lawa Beach, James Bond Island,Hong Island & Panak Island)
Lawa, meaning of "beautiful" in Malay language, well, nothing much special there...
James Bond Island, original name is Ko-Ping Gan, just because of the James Bond movie (The Man with the Golden Gun) was taken there, now, it is famous for the name of James Bond Island - with that famous overhanging rock!
Hong Island & Panak, emmm.. A place for sea canoeing & caving, quite nice!

* Finally, not missed out the Patong Beach and all those nightlife pubs or discos there which were packed with foreigners...

Drop me a mail if you wanna know more about mytrips itinerary or additional information... :)
