Melacca "Makan-makan" Trip

Sam decided to bring Boon, Cheng, Popo (emm, funny name, a young worker from Myanmar) go to Melacca to avoid the heavy traffic jam due to the Citrawarna road closure in KL exactly during their few days KL visit. To me, when we talked about Melacca, then I would consider it as a "makan-makan trip" yeah..agree? :)
We started our ~2 hours journey after having the yummy butter creamy crab in Kepong.
Stayed a night in Melacca, met up with a friend, one of the antics shop owner near Jonker Street, nice shop she has...a well decorated shop with those baba nyonya stuffs, antics...

Night weekend market in Jonker street should not be missed out for those handicraft, culturals, local food...After eating those "satay celup", special chicken rice ball, we went to the Sampan (a peaceful bungalow house at the seaside) for yamcha and chit-chatting.

The next day, we had the nyonya lunch. Who-ever comes to Melacca should try out the original local nyonya dishes. This time, i am going to remember/log down those nyonya food name, I have tried some before but I never remember the name for those dishes... We went to restaurant - Nancy's which is at Jonker street.
Few special dishes are chincalok fried egg, pongteh, buah keluak (this is the most raredish - cooked with those buah salak! ), lemak prawn pineapple, itik tim, laksa, some nyonya "kuih' (seri muka, lepat kacang, pulut tekan..etc), cendul. Fulled.

1. Nyonya Kuih; 2. Lemak prawn pineapple; 3. Popiah; 4. Pork pongteh; 5. Asam fish; 6. Ayam buah keluak
